Wow, this is really cool. I already got an asteriod, but it wont render. :confused: All I get are the beginning dots in the render window. I read the tut again, but I might have missed it. :D

Could you share the project file? I would like to see what the problem is (in case there's something wrong with the tutorial)
my asteroid looked a bit dodgy and took ages to render, i think its the fake stones shader

what were your render settings? The fake stones shader shouldn't be adding much time at all, as it's simply a displacement shader of sorts
you can probably upload to rapidshare.de or something
erm i dunno how to find out my render settings lol. but for me that shader made it go very weird :P

Great tutorial. I like the straightforwards way of building the asteroid. Will try it sometime and leave you a note.

Concerning the rocks one can try to use my rock tutorial [link] over it and the result will be just amazing.
